Sanhita Maitri Annual Report for the year 2010 - 2011

Hi All,

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that expanding our present covered scope of food and shelter, we are proposing to explore the health care and education sections this year. On this front we are planning to start an education reserve exclusively to fund meritorious students who are in need of financial support to perceive further studies and facilitate conduction of medical camp for the children in the children homes.

The Feeling of Belonging......

We always wanted to do something to the children of the Orphanage Dwarakamayi, that Sanhita Maitri is associated with, which would make them that we belong to them. We wanted to show them that we not just any other donor just giving money. This Jan 31st was one of our member shirish's birthday, so we got an idea which would make the children happy. We celebrated shirish's birthday at Dwarakamayi.

It was indeed a very good experience for our friend as he was wished by so many little and cute kids with their heartful greetings :) It was a good and memorable experience for him and the children too.

This is how we rang the New Year bells....

Ah! It is that time of the year again. The magic time when most of us have been close to exhaustion from all the situations we have been through during the old year and we are ready to begin afresh. Blessed is he who invented the concept of the New Year for he has given us hope just when we thought we couldn’t take it any longer.

Even for those whose old year was a good one, the idea of a clean slate is short of a miracle.

So here we are at the end of December. The first of January approaching fast and furious and we begin to think about all the great things that we would like to be, do, or have for the next 12

So right the start of the year,and the one we always look forward for is for the Celebrations too.Definition of it varies from person to person but the output is still the same which is joy and happiness J

We Sanhita Maitri celebrated and welcomed our new Year with the kids of “ Dwarakamayee Seva Samithi “.Smiles on the faces of these kids is a gift back to us for the long year and also for a start of a great year.

We distributed new clothes to this kids while we had celebrations with Cake,Sweets,Chocolates and what not.Overwhelmed with everything.

Hope this year brings joy and Happiness to everyone.

Sanhita Maitri ...... Aadharana, Shiksha, Raksha Community is an independent, non-religious, non-political organization registered as a non-profit organization (Society # 1151 of 2009) in India under Act No. 35 of 2001 for Registration of Welfare Society.     Sanhita Maitri is formed by a group of dedicated members, working towards providing Food, Shelter, Healthcare and Career path for the children in the Children Homes. We aim at cultivating moral values along with providing education to our children (the adopted ones), as we feel that any education without moral values is as good as no education. We also aim at providing moral support and care to the under-priviledged and the physically challenged children, who are neither encouraged nor nurtured, as they should be, in our society. 

    We provide basic education to poor and needy kids. We take extreme care while selecting the Children Homes, who are supported by us. We adopt children with a view  of educating them and providing food, shelter, healthcare and moral support, irrespective of location, cast, religion, age, economic standards and physical abilities . The number of children we support each year depends on the available funds (projected over a year).
